I Want Your Clean Evo 8 or 9

in a straight trade or very close trade for my 2011 Lancer Ralliart Sportback:

Updated: Evo 8 or 9

Fully loaded - leather, sunroof, navigation, Rockford Fosgate system with 10" subwoofer, Ralliart optional accent pieces (shift knob, ebrak handle, etc.)
Miles: 63K miles (this is my daily driver so it will increase)
Mods: Stock
Owners: I am the second
- Brand new valve body for the transmission, new transmission fluid, filter was installed by the dealership recently
- Has an extremely good warranty for several years and a service plan. PM for details.
- I am having a reputable vendor on this forum inspect the car next week
- There is a loan on the car.

Your car
I don't want a POS. I don't want any engine or transmission problems, wrecked cars, flooded cars, fully gutted cars, etc. - none of that nonsense. I am going to daily drive it so the less mods on it the better. I also want you to have a reputable vendor on this forum or one that is well known inspect your car also before the deal is finalized.

Why?
I am a week away from deciding if I want to modify the car or if I want to just bite the bullet and get an Evo 9 to modify. This is for the person who wants a fun daily driver worry free with a warranty and can use the extra space to carry items.

If I don't trade the car I will just keep it, no big deal at all. I just wanted to see if anyone was interested.

Sorry about the 2nd picture: It's flurrying a bit so that's the best I can do quickly.

??

Just a quick Google search indicates a 33k mileage version of the car you own sells for $13 grand (GTS model). And that's dealership pricing, not private party.

You are asking for a clean/stock ish 8 or 9 for trade.

Clean 8s probably go for $15 grand and truly stock 9s aren't sold for less than $20k+.

You are not going to get much of a response or interest, if any. Sorry but GLWS

It might help if you performed a quick search for fully loaded 2011 Ralliart Sportbacks instead of 2011 Lancer GTS models. I never said 100% stock. My ad is not as far fetched as you made it out to be.

It is far fetched. This is an Evo 8/9 for sale forum, not really a mitsu forum. Everyone in this specific forum adores and loves Evos 8/9, thus everyone here overvalues their own. Not to mention, your car is based off the new X 2008 and newer platform, which most 8/9 Evo owners abhor and consider inferior to the previous generation.

You're asking for someone to swap (or with a little cash on top) their higher hp twin scroll turbo, manual transmission, and lighter IX chassis for a single scroll turbo, crappy dual clutch non-manual transmission, and heavier/bulkier X chassis.

The first person who says I traded my Evo 8/9 for a Sportback, regardless of Ralliart trim or whatever, deserves a punch in the face.

I don't care what options are included with your car or dealership retail value is; what you are offering in trade would probably be insulting to the person you present that hypothetical offer to.

Your best shot is to sell it and use that cash to buy an Evo outright. No one will trade you that car for an Evo 8/9, at least not on this subforum. If you manage to pull it off, great but Im not optimistic.

I didn't realize you couldn't post a WTT ad in this forum without wanting to trade an Evo 8/9 for an Evo 8/9. Thank you for the bumps.

Don't mean to be a jerk but if someone trades you their evo 9 for your lancer... I will personally punch them in the face. Take the advice and get rid of your car and buy an evo. Less headache for sure.

I dont mean to be a wise guy but this Lancer is fully loaded worth about 20K retail from the dealer, probably in reality in a quick sale situation worth 17-18k - I dont think you can get a clean Evo out of this, more likely salvage, project Evo that was probably worth 10-15k after insurance totaled it....its a tough call. Trade in your car at CarMax and get yourself a 12-15k Evo probably not clean one but its an Evo. Or if someone here want to get a daily driver and their Evo is in the garage with a issues - and its worth around 15-17k, this would be it.

That's along the lines of what I had in mind. My car plus $2K cash for an Evo 8/9 that is lightly modded with higher mileage.
