2006 TB EVO IX SE 45k miles, ORIGINAL OWNER
CLIFF NOTES:
-Tarmac Black 2006 Evolution IX SE (5-speed, HIDs, aluminum roof, red-stitching on seats etc)
-Low Mileage (45k), ORIGINAL OWNER, always garaged, (very) mature owner
-Tasteful modifications (tuned for reliability), with an emphasis on handling
-NO EXPENSE SPARED on parts and services (Ohlin, Buschur, Robispec, Ivey, etc)
-Car has always been meticulously maintained and is in perfect running condition.
The Long Story:
After months of research, in early 2007 I purchased this Evo brand new from dealer. It took me a while to track down a new car with the more desirable (reliable) 5-speed, but the wait was worth it since it also happened to be an SE model, including the HID headlights, the aluminum roof and more.
In late 2008, I began to make some tasteful modifications. I found the Buschur package to be the best blend of performance and reliability, and a went with a suite of all-new Buschur parts. The car has a conservative tune by Sean Ivey, and is making 320whp at 20lbs of boost (Sean is the only person to ever touch the boost controller). In 2010 I began to make suspension & braking modifications with only the best parts, including Ohlin Flags tuned by RobiSpec and 2-Piece brake rotors and SS braided brake lines.
The Exterior is in flawless OEM condition, with minor add-ons including an OEM-style Siebon carbon fiber hood for weight savings, the Mitsubishi vortex generators and a professionally applied Lamin-x full front clear bra. 17” BBS SE wheels are in great condition and the Hankook V12 Evo tires have approximately half their life left. Tarmac Black paint is terrific condition, and there is absolutely no rust.
The interior is in terrific condition, with a Recaro pole position drivers seat (the OEM SE Recaro seat is included in sale, and is in pristine condition in storage). The back is adorned with an Auto Power 4pt rollbar, which can be easily removed and replaced with the OEM SE backseats (also pristine and included in sale).
The car is in perfect driving condition, and has no mechanical issues whatsoever. Engine pulls strong, and the clutch grips perfectly. The car has been tracked, but is also used as a daily driver— so much so that aftermarket cruise control has been added and the AC and OEM stereo are fully functioning. Car has NEVER been launched. All services are up to date, and the Ohlins shocks were revalved & calibrated in early 2015. All routine maintenance has been performed either by myself or my mechanic/engineer brother, including transfer case, rear differential, transmission and brake fluid changes. Heavier work performed by Evo specialists including IveyTune and RobiSpec. All paperwork and documentation from original purchase to recent services available.

No reason to go CF with the Aluminium (1-2lbs savings) Been awhile but there used to be a thread about CF vs OEM. A CF hood can be had for 30% the cost of an OEM hood after purchase/paint. Been down that road when someone backed into my evo back in the day.
GL w the sale.
