I own and hold the clean Alabama title.

I am selling my Tarmac Black 2006 Evo 9 GSR that is meticulously and extensively modified.

My 91 page build thread documenting the modifications since I bought the vehicle are in a massive thread here... https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/pr...4-efr7670.html
TONS of pictures can be seen there. I will take more pictures shortly when I get the car all waxed and detailed.

The build thread details a tremendous amount of information with regards to the vehicle and the vehicle's history... also shows how everything was modified and why everything was done the way it was done.

I'm probably missing some things that are just evading me.

Car is accident free, no claims, no repaints, all OEM panels. No salt, driven in snow once while I owned it, car has been garaged full time since I've owned it. Car runs full flex fuel E85 through the vipec and also has safety features for fuel pressure failures, overboost, overrev, etc. Motorsport features like WOT shift, and LC... Limiter is set at 8500 now, but can be revved to 8800. Car has been running at 650awhp for a while now, can be turned up to approx 725awhp while staying under the turbo speed limit. The car flat out hauls *** and is a beast on track. Just writing this forsale ad makes me re-think selling it. I have a lot of love, time, and money into this car making it exactly how I wanted. It's what I consider the perfect combination for the Evo. I've considered parting the car out, but I feel the time that went into sorting the combination to make it all work and jive perfectly together with all the other parts... I want to leave it in one piece. The price is definitely high, but that is the VALUE of which I think my car is worth. Duplicating this build would be a $75k dollar endeavor that would take at least 6 months to a year for an extremely competent Evo shop to do. I think a car enthusiast who likes fast cars (like myself) who is looking at buying and building an Evo would find this as a great way to get into the platform. I only hope that I can find a 996TT owner who has put as much thought, time, effort, and money into his car would be willing to sell to to me for a considerable "deal." I understand people will scoff at the price, and I'm ok with that. I don't mind getting to spend more time with Evo before she goes.

Holy hell, never thought this car would be up for sale. Was just talking about how I wanted to build a 2.2 engine to match yours.

Good luck with the sale... sad to see this going down but at the same time happy that I get to try and convince the wife to let me buy possibly the best thought out Evo build in existence.

Probably the most meticulously built evo we will ever see on the forum. Sad to see you go, but a 996TT isn't a bad platform to move on to!

And it's a rear drive drag car. And, IMO, is not comparable in any way to R/TErnie's..

I wish I had the liquid cash to buy this. GLWS.

GLWS. Tons of one-of-kind custom stuff that make it one of the most unique max effort builds.

Sad to see you go Eric. Your build and documentation on this forum has helped many people. The price is totally fair considering this is one of the few evos for sale now without "hidden suprises". Hope it goes to a good owner that keeps it that way.

You shoud take some time to read the build thread about this car. Only then will you understand the amount of craftsmanship and deliberate planning this car went through.

I think $45k is too low of an asking price for the amount of work that's in this car.

Agreed
When you make it an auto RWD car, it's no longer an EVO
Might as well as get a Corvette or Supra and be done
David realized that and brought back Project White instead
Such a shocking news to see one of the best build ever being put on sale
Totally worth every penny
