This is a long read, so be patient. And you will not find any history of the car on here as I was using this site for years, reading and intended to begin posting once my experience with the car became second nature.

Hello evom members, I have come to a hard decision of selling my 2005 Lancer Evo VIII. I have to sell due to my Mother's health issues that will force me to take care of her financially. I've spent the last 4 months with it learning as much as possible about this new chassis with the anticipation to start circuit racing. That is now on a major back burner. I've personally known the previous owner who began this build plan in 2013. I have all paperwork and dyno graphs for the buyer. All proper fluids are fresh.

No need to do any searching on the car as I have the full Carfax History available to the buyer. There were 5 owners before me. I'll sum it up for all below:

1st Owner: Car shipped to dealer in MD July of 2005, bought in September of 2005 with 7 miles on the clock. Sold in February 2007 with almost 9300 miles. Serviced reported once in 2006.

2nd Owner: Bought in PA March 2007, service reports in April, May and June bringing the car up to 19.000 miles.

3rd Owner: Again, bought in PA July 2007 online, sent to VA to a dealer who listed at as a dealer vehicle. Service records up until July 2008 again bringing mileage up to 25,000.

4th Owner: Bought in July 2008 in VA, held onto until October 2012 where it was traded in GA. Mileage is now a little over 77,000.

5th Owner: Personally known, he bought from GA dealer in November 2012. He used the original motor for a 2.3L build at 84,000 miles while in GA. His build plan began in March 2013 and was completed in April 2015. Dyed OEM seats black soon after purchase. Curb Damage on all four wheels is pictured also.

As luck would have it, he spun bearings and damaged the crank and rods. The build was in the beginning stages of 500whp break in to go for 700-900whp. He moved down in June/July 2015. Plans were for me to take over the car before the blown scenario.

AG Autosports was tasked with putting another setup together so it would run again and once completed, I bought the car with 88,000 miles.

FULL DISCLOSURE: In October 2015, the car was backed into in a parking lot. An elderly woman backed into the front while the car was parked without me in it at about 5 - 10 mph. Rather than handling privately and risking any possibility of getting screwed, I used insurance. I filed a police report and got estimates. After selecting the shop, I personally checked everyday for the duration and paid to have the hood and front bumper redone to make the car blend and match properly. Took pics of that process as well.

The Title is still clean and I have all the paperwork. Bodywork and paint repairs were done by Schumacher Mitsubishi of West Palm Beach, FL. I am very meticulous when it comes to details so I chose a dealership to be sure NEW parts were used, and not LKQ or EBAY junk! Before this, paint was all original so I had to be sure I went with the best available shop to blend the panels properly. I've included pics of damages: Fender, bumper, ACD fluid resevoir & driver headlight were damaged surface wise.

Last Disclaimer: Please don't waste my time or yours telling me I can't get my asking price (or close to it) or these silly comments I see on here from time to time. This is a well put together car that is not hacked up. All Vin's matching with the exception of 1 fender, which was new from a Mitsu Dealership recently and now a long block. Keep in mind this car is now 10 years old, and thus is not perfect paint wise, minor surface scratches and blemishes can be seen.

I can have these minor blemishes taken care of once a buyer is serious. I am also able to negotiate with a serious buyer if certain valuable easy to remove parts are not a necessity, such as intercooler, intercooler piping, wheels, turbo setup, suspension and so on, just to name a few, since I still have all the stock parts. If you want the car as is, don't offer me $15,000, not even $20,000 is worth the time since that is the car in stock form alone if financed. Asking price includes everything I was given with the car. All stock parts retained. Thanks for being patient and I appreciate the look.

For those who care I checked the Carfax on this car and there is a "mileage inconsistency" reported when the 2nd person owned this vehicle. Looks like service could have made a mileage recording mistake when writing up the car for service or registration. Or something else. Who knows.
