PSA on "Immaculate" Evo IX MR in Temecula (SoCal)
Just want to put the word out, I went to inspect this car today, Evo IX MR VIN #JA3AH86C66U066579. The owner (named "Jerry" IIRC) assured me it is all-original paint & no accidents, but I found among his documents an invoice in his name that shows the entire rear end of the car has been repaired & repainted for some reason. The rear struts were also not MR Bilsteins, indicating they've been replaced likely due to accident.
Hoping nobody buys this believing the owner's word that it's an "immaculate" Evo.

Not at all, if this car were immaculate it would be worth in the low 30's. I sold my 14,000 mile stock IX GSR for $35,500 recently.

Was there any frame damage? I was thinking about going and looking at it. But ding know what I should offer or if even worth it.

You guys should be careful when buying evo's . People use or replace their gauge cluster with lower mileage one and call it a "low mile" evo . Then they have accidents major or not but don't report it on the insurance or sell it and it gets fixed up but title shows it's "clean" etc...
Then there are the ones that buy ones with issues and try to fix or half *** fix it to sell for a higher price. You can usually tell who they are before even looking at the car because they owned it it for such a short period of time to make sense or never changed registration under their name.
Also some shady dealers buy auctioned evo's to piece together evo's and call it an original etc..
Too many lies and bs out there.
