Evo IX ~170K mi $14,000 obo NJ - More pics Added
After 10+ years, it's time to sell my Evo, in no rush but wanted to start shopping it around. Located in NJ near zip 08827
I've owned it since new (carfax would show two owners as it was originally registered under my parents).
It's never been modified for performance, only 'mods' are I added a boost gauge (zeitronix wb02, only the boost gauge is hooked up), got rid of the big wing and replaced with a regular lancer wing and put in a new head unit so I can have bluetooth.
The car's starting to show it's age a bit as it's still on the original clutch which appears to be near the end of its life - no slipping at higher RPMs, and has been absolutely fine for daily driving, but I wouldn't be launching or tracking it without replacing.
The suspension has a few clunks to it. The three ACD lights have been on for the better part of 100K miles. There's a decent ding in the passenger front fender (in pictures linked below) and a miss under WOT which I just haven't gotten around to having checked out (work/family/life happens).
The car has seen a total of 3 track days and one autox day around the middle of my ownership term.
I hit a deer about 5 years back so it had the hood, driver headlight, fender, driver door and driver side mirror replaced at that time along with the windshield which has been replaced two or 3 more times since (daily driven on crowded NJ highways means I end up with a cracked windshield every 1-2 years).
Based on the work it needs and other listing prices, I'm going to start it at 14K - would possibly be best in the hands of someone that wants to do their own work.
Will come with all spare parts too:
CL RC6E Front pads - one day of use plus a little street use and whatever other pads I have laying around
Evo 8 (summer tires) and Evo IX wheels (all season tires you can eek one more winter out of probably)
Low mileage stock strut/springs I've had laying around
OEM yellow wing partially sanded
OEM Passenger inner tie rod (I forgot that needs replacing too)
