EB Evo IX One Owner $21,500
SOLD
FS: 2006 Electric Blue Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX
VIN: JA3AH86C96U056497
Summary: I bought this car new in March 2007 from the dealership, and have owned it ever since. It is virtually stock, and has NEVER seen a tune or a track. All work that has been done on the car was by me, reputable shops, or the dealership. No accidents, clean Carfax, and clean title. Still on original clutch!
This car has been my daily driver since I bought it. It currently has 101,803 miles on the clock and counting. It’s been the most reliable car I’ve owned, and has never had a shop visit for anything other than routine maintenance. I’ve always used Mobil 1 oil, Mitsu filters, and Shell 93 Nitro+ gasoline.
I LOVE this car and do not relish the idea of letting it go. However, I’m in my mid-forties, and the medial compartment of my left knee is degrading, and can no longer deal with a manual transmission. Due to space and financial constraints, I can’t keep the car as a “toy” (although I would certainly love to).
It is my sincere hope that the car can be passed on to someone who will appreciate it as I have, and give it the care and attention that a special vehicle like this deserves.
The car is located in the Raleigh, NC area.
“Mods”:
• Perrin Intake
• Helix Cat-Back Exhaust
• StopTech Slotted Rotors
• StopTech Street Performance Pads
• Rexpeed EB Vortex Generator
• Legal Window Tint (~35%)
• WeatherTech Vent Shades
• RallyArmor Mud Flaps
Stock exhaust and intake/airbox included with sale.
The Good:
• Car is in exceptional condition for having been daily transportation for almost eleven years.
• Reliable
• Doesn’t Burn Oil
• Starts Easily/Solid Idle
• Pulls Strong
• Passes NC State Inspection consistently
The “Bad”:
• The car has been driven daily for almost eleven years, so there are the expected dings, chips, minor curb rash, and minor scratches that go along with that.
• The vortex generator has faded over the years, and could use a new coat of EB and clear (or replace).
• Brake calipers are faded/peeling – need to be repainted/re-cleared
Not looking to ship...would prefer local pickup.

I've done all the oil changes, so all I have with regard to that is a piece of paper where I wrote down the mileage each time (never considered selling the car at that point).

For those interested in a walk around video, I'll see about doing that, but it may have to wait until the holiday break due to my work schedule.
Thanks,
