(Feeler) 2006 WW Evolution IX MR, 13K Miles
Hey everyone, I want to see what the interest level is for my car. I have no reason or need to sell, but I suppose I would let her go to the right buyer / offer as I don't drive it and it has just been sitting in my garage on a battery tender.
2006 Lancer Evolution IX MR Wicked White
VIN: JA3AH86C86U041232
Mileage: 13,444 (This will not go up)
Clean title, 2nd Owner
Location: Massachusetts
Price: Again this is a feeler, so I'm just going to put $70k since I have to put something.
This car is in pretty immaculate condition in comparison to almost every other Evo 8/9 I've seen. I'm pretty fanatical about my cars being kept in showroom condition and I would definitely say that this car fits in. All VIN numbers match on all panels, paint looks amazing, some minor rock chips in the front bumper but nothing out of the ordinary from normal driving. I have all the documents for service, spare keys, and even the original window sticker. I've had this car for around 5 years now and it literally sits in a heated garage. It was taken out to move to a new garage this year (ran great) but that's about all the road time it has seen from me. From what the previous owner told me, it has never seen any rain/snow and certainly hasn't seen any from me. Car had 13,425 miles when I got her so you can see how much it goes out. I bought the car in Pittsburgh, and had it delivered to me in an enclosed truck from Reliable Carriers. (Yes, this car really is in that great of condition)
The car has a few modifications done by the previous owner that are listed in the picture below. He had all parts installed by Buschur, and it was tuned and dyno'd there as well. I have all documentation of this from him. While I've had it, I put on the ARC heat shield, the IX SE front lip, and JDM rear bumper.
If I were to sell, I would want it to go to someone that cares for it as much as I do. Everyone that sees this car in person thinks it is brand new. This is and will always be my favorite car to ever hit the road.
I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot so let me know if you have any more questions!
These pictures are a mix of when I first got the car and how it is now (all pictures are indicative of its current condition, the only things that are different are the rear bumper and front lip):

Even though $40k is an incredible offer, it's not enough to make me feel like I want to sell. In fear of getting bashed for this, I don't know if I even want to sell at all now. This post is giving me cold feet, I'm emotionally attached guys!

Id guess 98% of the people here dont have $70k to throw at a modified low mile Evo 9 MR. If i were you id stock it out. More people with the money you are looking for will want a stock car and anyone willing to pay $70k will do it for the close to showroom condition stock from factory. Ebay might be your best bet.
On a side note. Ive seen a few guys go nuts when they list their low mile evo 9 ever since that one sold for over $100k. Most of those people forget...that one was stock all original from the factory....never modified with almost no miles.
