I have owned this car for 15 years, and it has been an absolutely wonderful experience. I bought this car July 18th 2003, it has always been garage kept and I have been the only person to own the car. The original motor was built into a 2.3 stroker with a 6262 turbo, and was sold after enjoying it for about 25k miles. My intentions were to enjoy the stock swap until I had the next build ready. However I recently moved to Denver, and after settling in I realized I no longer have time for the car.
This Evo currently has a mostly stock motor with 78k miles on it purchased from
Morrisons’s Auto INC (have receipt). I personally installed the longblock with all fresh gaskets, oil pump, water pump, balance shaft delete, and a 12 tooth trigger disk. All bolts and parts bought from Mitsubishi I have receipts of. This car is on the stock clutch and tuned at 18psi to preserve it. I have a brand new quartermaster 8 leg clutch that I would be willing to let go of at a reasonable price with the sale of the car. Runs great I drove it up from San Antonio TX, and through the local mountains in Co. The car is currently garaged in downtown Denver and has never seen snow.
