2005 Mitsubishi Evolution 8 MR(65,000 miles)
If you’re looking for a reliable daily that hasn’t been riced out or beat to death keep reading.
I purchased this car March 2017 with about 62k miles on the odometer. The current mileage is about 65k and that’s the reason I’m selling it. I'm 38yr old bought this as a toy to mess around with there is nothing wrong with it.
If you’re looking for a car that you can drive everyday and don’t have to worry about being stranded on the side of the road you’ve found it. Mechanically the car is 100% sound, it’s good to go. The body isn’t in show car condition it’s a 2005 and has been driven. There are scratches on the vehicle but nothing out of the ordinary. As far as I’m aware it’s never been in an accident and it has a clean carfax.
Since purchasing the car I’ve made some upgrades and I’m listing them below. In addition to what’s below I’ve quoted and linked to the post where I purchased the vehicle from. You will find many more details about the car there.
1. 65k miles (will go up slightly)
2. Enkie RPF1 brand new Falken FK510
3. Tein Flex Z coilovers
4. STM one piece clutch line
5. STM clutch fork stop
6. New OEM alternator
7. Moore automotive alignment (this was about $300)
8. Moore rolled the rear fenders
9. eBay lip but it actually looks and fits well
10. Quick release bumper (did this so it's easy to get on my ramps to change oil)
11. In MD emissions visually looks at the exhaust. I had a test pipe that looks exactly like a cat welded on. Passed no questions asked. Also passed OBD no questions asked as there are no check engine lights or codes.
Below is a quote from OP when I purchased the vehicle.
Price: 22k

A couple scrapes on the left rear bumper (shown in pics)
A couple minor surface scratches on drivers and passenger door
small front end chips
fading on some trim pieces
Standard clear coat fading on Wing underneath (shown in pics)

Still have this and mileage is around 66k. I stopped replying to messages because there were so many kids without money calling. If you are interested please make sure you’re able to secure the funds or have the funds before making contact. Everyone that test drove it said they wanted it, but can’t get a loan. No more test drives unless you have proof that a loan has been secured.
Thank you.
Thank you.

I'm sorry that you haven't been able to sell your EVO. I ended up buying a race-prepared EVO out of California and having it shipped to Maryland. This made more sense as it is my intention to compete in SCCA regional races along the east coast. Best of luck.
