FS: Lancer Shift Knob (Aluminum, for CVT) MZ360281EX

SOLD

For sale is a Lancer Shift Knob (Aluminum, for CVT) Part # MZ360281EX. See install instructions here. Goes for $145 new; I am selling for $25 shipped (within US). Please read everything below before committing to buying this shift knob! If you have any questions/picture requests/etc., please let me know.

I drive a 2011 GTS, and I'm assuming the shift rod (referenced on page 3 of the instructions listed above) on the '11 is different than previous Lancer models because my shift rod does not have the "dents". Therefore, I just used one setscrew, Hexagon socket head bolt and spring washer (#3, 4 and 5 in the instructions above) to screw on the shift rod. It was not very secure and would move around a lot. This is why I am selling it.

One thing to note: I noticed when I received the knob, the Hexagon socket head bolt was a little stripped (I'm assuming this is because the previous owner had the same problem with the shift knob as I, and tried to screw it on someplace on the shift knob and it would not stay secure). Consequently, when I attempted to uninstalled the knob, the said bolt became so stripped that it rounded out. So much so, I could not extract it. I was only able to pull it off the shift knob.

So, what you see and what you will get is a shift knob in used shape, a few scratches, and a fully assembled knob with the Hexagon socket head bolt stuck in the shift knob. 1 of the 4 set screws is also stuck in the knob as well. All the other parts listed in the instructions above come in the original box, with physical instructions as well.

See pics below.

Darn, I'd take this in a second but I do not think it fits 2012s+ since these are threaded
