So the wife says she wants to tackle cleaning out the basement soon, and I start doing a mental inventory of what I have stored there, and I begin to panic. Doing a physical inventory confirms my fears and now I have the motivation to finally get this stuff all listed and off to good homes before she figures out how much I really spend in a year on the car and tracking.

• Most of these parts will fit Evo 8 and 9. The brake pads will fit Evo X as well as 8 & 9.

4 sets of PFC-01 front pads (# 7781.01.15.44) - I bought these when I couldn't find any more 97 pad compound, and my buddy Pshooter on here runs the 01 compound and swears by them. The Essex brake kit can't make use of these, so they're yours. Fits 8/9/X Evos, as well as other cars. New, in box. $275/each set

**SOLD**II. Brand new: Hawk HP Plus Front Pads
2 sets of Hawk HP Plus front pads (# HB453N.585). I used to try to run these at the track but I eventually was able to outdrive them. These are a fine pad for the street and autocrossing, but they won't do well at a heavy braking track like Watkins Glen. Fits 8/9/X Evos. New, in box. $120

III. Used Brake Pads - PFC-97s and Hawk HPS
I identified each set with a simple number, and then measured a sample pad from each set for pad material thickness. Measurements are as honest as possible given my measuring equipment (tape measure). There are 2 sets of pads in this list that are nearly new or are still track-worthy (labeled as "Used #1" and "Used #5"). The rest of them are what I would use on the street between track days. The Hawk HPS pads were what I used to run on the street, but when I started to accumulate used PFC-97 pads that weren't thick enough for the track, I decided to use them on the street, and found I liked having the same braking bite I enjoyed on track, and also didn't need to go through a complicated brake bed-in process when switching pads anymore. Most of the sets of pads I would use on the street except for the fact I now have an Essex/AP Racing brake kit and can no longer make use of the PFC-97 pads for the OEM Brembo calipers.

**SOLD**Hawk HPS Front Pads (Used #1) (HB453F.585) - 10mm of pad material. Hawk's basic street compound for the Evo. I would not use these at the track, but they are fine for the street and autocross. Like new pad material thickness. $80

This is a typical set of pads I would run on the street between track days. Pads may show some heat checking(cracking), but are serviceable and maintain their braking properties. Used. $45

PFC-97 front pads (Used #5) - 11mm of pad material. These are special 16mm pads new, and meant to offer even more insulating properties and longer life. The downside to them when new were they were a pain to fit into the calipers due to the larger size. PFC no longer offers them. I must have lost track of this set because I didn't use them up before dipping into other sets. I would run these pads at the track again. Pads may show very minor heat checking(cracking), but are serviceable and maintain their braking properties. Used. $125

**SOLD***NEW* Rexpeed Carbon Fiber Brake Cooling Guides. Test fitted to the car but never installed due to a purchase of an AMS brake duct kit. The metal brackets have very minor corrosion on them just from sitting for a few years, but the CF guides themselves are immaculate. New. $80

**SOLD***NEW* Peformance Friction Two Piece Front Rotors (#319.32.0060.87 & 88). Complete set - Brand spanking new rotor rings from Performance Friction still in retail boxes. Includes the used rotor hats and brand new mounting hardware to bolt the rings to the hats. Torque specs are 10-12 foot-lbs to make sure the rotors can expand and contract without binding on the bolts. Great upgrade for track days. *Tip* I've found the cheapest reseller for these rings are truck places for some reason. Do a Google search on the part number and look for places like TruckSpring.com. New rotors & hardware w/ used hats. $400

**SOLD**Used - Giro Disc Front Brake Pad Shields. Used these to help protect the calipers and fluid from high temps. They work pretty well insulating the brake calipers from heat, as titanium supposedly doesn't conduct heat as well as other metals. I've cleaned them up with some fine sanding and a wire wheel to get rid of some rust that transferred from a brake pad backing plate, without removing any shield material. About 1/32nd of an inch thick (according to AMS where I bought them). Used. $40

**SOLD***NEW* Technafit Stainless Steel Braided Brake Lines (Clear color). Unopened in retail bag. Bought them from MAP as part of a special and haven't needed them since the Essex kit came with new lines, so off they go. New. $75

**SOLD**Used - OEM Brembo Front Calipers. These calipers just came off my '03 Evo this spring. They've been completely rebuilt at least once (including repainted but w/o the Brembo logo replaced), and I believe the dust boots have been replaced twice... and they need to be replaced again as they are crumbling. These calipers were working fine when they came off my car. Can include OEM brake pad shims if desired. Used. $250 for the set.

Anyone have suggestions on how to get the motorsports guys notice on these PFC pads? They should be gobbling up these new pads, but obviously they aren't seeing them.
