WTB: Front axle seal dust cover or bad front axle
This is the piece that slides on the end of the axle where it goes into the trans. Its purpose is to protect the axle seal. This was damaged and was not included when I got new axles so I need to find one. A straight screwdriver and hammer can be used to take one off the stock axle without damaging it. If you are uncomfortable with removing it you can send me the axle and I can remove. I do not need a good axle - just this dust cover to be in good condition and still round.

i just replaced my axle ill see what i can do with it tonight and if its in good condition

are the CV boots easy to replace? I was told to just get a new axle with it intact

CV boots can be replaced. I would try to not get a universal kit but one actually made for these axles. It is also best to do this when the axle is out of the car.

So do you have a bad axle I can buy?

ha, I'm sorry but I do not, I just share a blown CV joint like you. I will most likely replace the axle.

hey i got my axle switched so i wanna watch it till the end of the week and ill have one to send you, do you need the full thing, just the dust cover, or whatever?
