F/S: (2) OEM Evo 9 WGA wastegate actuators - BRAND NEW, one used
As described in the title... 100% unused, rustfree Evo9 wastegate actuator. This part was removed from a brand new Mitsubishi TD05-16G turbo for a 2006 Lancer Evolution.
These are the OEM ID numbers stamped on the back of the mounting bracket:
178-18791

Does RUST mean that it is bad?
Here is the situation:
I have an HKS EVC 5. It's stepping motor has 3 PORTS:
PORT 1 goes to Turbo
PORT 2 goes to the Wastegate Actuator
PORT 3 reads boost.
With all of these PORTS(1/2/3) plugged in I only get about 80Kpa
With the PORT 1 removed, I am able to boost to 200Kpa+ with warning alerts. Im am tuned to 26psi so I control myself and dont WOT for too long.
PORT 2 goes to the Wastegate Actuator but I have never tried to unplug it to test.
So as a result this may mean I have a bad turbo or wastegate actuator?
