I'm not sure what was modified, if it has a serial number that can be given to shep to determine the modifications done - similar to the trans - I would be happy to supply it to you.

if you can contact shep and possibly ask them if there was a way to find out please lmk, or ask the person you purchased from?

I don't have a good tool to measure that (other then a normal measuring tape), I can take photos for you though.

I tried calling shep today, but he/they didnt return my phone call. The trans had a serial number from shep and turned out to be a full rebuild verified by the serial number. I am assuming the T-case is the same thing, a rebuild, not a staged t-case. But going by the different options, the stages are not much more then just a rebuild.

Have you tried to contact Shep again about the level of rebuild done to the t-case?

Please see the post above. Please also realize that the price I am asking is less then, if not equal to the going price of a stock used trans. It has already been verified that the trans was shep built and the trans has been received by its new owner already.
