Used Exedy Triple (old style) with approximately 23K miles. Will not hold, but 2 out of the 3 discs measure within spec - 2.8mm, 3.5mm and 3.6mm. Pressure Plate and one side of Intermediate Plate 1 show signs of heat discoloration and are not perfectly smooth to the touch. The rest of the assembly appears OK.

You could probably get away with just replacing disc 1. I would consider swapping out pressure and the first intermediate plates for good measure... or just go with a whole rebuild to the newer style setup. Either way, total investment would be well under the cost of a new triple.
