MAP ef2.5 $350 O.B.O.
for sale is my MAP EF2.5 with anti-surge compressor housing. everything spins fine and it has no broken parts, but it goes have a lot of shaft play and will need a rebuild.
the car was shut off as soon as i noticed there was a problem, so there is no damage to any other parts of the turbo.
MAP has told me they no longer rebuild these and i honestly have no idea who else would, so i'd assume this would be only good for used parts?
turbo will not come with j-pipe, WGA, nor water lines.
price is best offer.
turbo made 360whp on 91 oct on my IX with 264 cams and a few bolt-ons. it did around 430whp or so on E85. a nice cam would really wake this thing up. full boost was 3800RPM, if i remember right. this is a journal-bearing turbo.
