2.2/2.3 pistons 4G63 only 85MM Custom CP's with all the options
I had these custom CP's made a few years ago at 9:1 for my engine. A few months later they added E-85 a few blocks from my house so then I wanted to take advantage of that . I had a second set made at 10:1 and run them in my car now making 600/500 on a RED. I also went with .250 wall DLC pins incase I put a larger turbo on one day.
These pistons have all the options for max power and ringseal. I also had the .200 wall pins DLC coated for 150 or so. If you are going to go for all the power, I would go with a .250 wall pin for added safety. I had .200 wall since I was only going to make 600whp or so.
Here are the specs. Offset pin is going to be quieter and the other options are an upgrade over shelf pistons.
Evo 9 Mivec
Oil squirter
85mm Bore STOCK BORE
9:1 compression
Stock valve size
Stock Chamber
Tuff Skirt
Crown coat
.025 opposing direction of
rotation. The pin offset will be towards the intake pocket.
Round style piston
Accumulator groove
CP Groove
Broach pin oilers
Inverted dome
.200 wall pin
600.00
These pistons have not been run and will work in a 94mm/153mm 4g63block at 9:1 OR A 100MM crank 150MM rod 4G63 block at 9.5:1 since the compression height is 1.134 .
