SOLD! - FS: Used 6.5 TME Turbo/O2, <15K mi. - good condition
THESE ITEMS ARE SOLD!
This TME unit is in good condition with no excess shaft play. This unit has never been tracked and was always cooled with a turbo timer. No issues, I'm upgrading to a WR. I'll even throw in a factory O2 housing since I have one laying around. What you see is what you get. This unit retails for over $900 right now. Looking for $525 shipped. http://ntexasevos.org/img/tmp/sell/CIMG2760.jpg http://ntexasevos.org/img/tmp/sell/CIMG2761.jpg http://ntexasevos.org/img/tmp/sell/CIMG2762.jpg http://ntexasevos.org/img/tmp/sell/CIMG2763.jpg http://ntexasevos.org/img/tmp/sell/CIMG2765.jpg http://ntexasevos.org/img/tmp/sell/CIMG2768.jpg http://ntexasevos.org/img/tmp/sell/CIMG2769.jpg |

that turbo says 10.5 on it, but the housing is a 9.8. how come?
|
Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean. Which housing are you referring to? The hotside is the standard 6.5 TME 10.5 and the O2 is an OEM VIII piece.

Well from the pictures, I believe the 10.5 is a single round flapper, not a dual port oval flapper(9.8) That is what I was referring to. If I am mistaken, please correct me.

The WG port configuration does not determine the size of the housing. 10.5 housings have both round and oval gates depending on the OEM production run date.
The proper way to tell the housing size is to verify the casting number on the scroll ends with "105". Regards, Ethan
