I also filled it through the fill hole. I had an evo 8 for 7 years changing the fluid every 5k miles. When it was time to change it again fluid would start trickling down so It was definitely full....

It can be dangerous to overfill the transfer case. I don't know if its the same in the older evos but in the evo x if you overfill your transfer case you have have most of it come back out the bleed...

The HKS plugs are over 100 bucks. Factory evo x plugs from mitsu are close to 100. Besides, iridium plugs should last way longer than 8k.

I did the same thing. I had an evo VIII for 7 years and traded it in for an X. I like the X way better than my 8. Didn't regret it one bit.
