From the looks of your video, the Monoloc collar is further extended outwards (towards the gearbox) than the standard collar.
This will mean you'll need a lot more travel to get the clutch to disengage.
This is why the spring washers are "loose", because the Monoloc has extended out further than normal.

Is the Monoloc damaged?

Can you put them side by side on a flat surface to show a comparison pic?

The collars are the same height, but it wouldn't matter regardless. The snap ring portion of the collar (both stock and Monoloc) is the only part that determines the location of the bearing into the lever plate (center of the pressure plate). If the collar was too tall or short it simply wouldn't snap in place. If it snaps in place, then is will work. He has some other issues going on.

yeah the clips were the same height. the wave springs was not.. so i just used the springs off the exedy clip and it was good to go..

the car is back together now so i cant take comparison pics.

If i run 1 more extra wave spring would that affect the monolock in any negative way?

It makes it a bit harder to install (takes more force).

And uninstall! That's the hard part. I did not do extra springs with the MonoLoc. Install it on the clutch outside the car and check it out. I was impressed. How does your hub in the triple look?
