503whp GT3582R stock block, cams, studs, ecu-maff

Mods..
Injen Intake
FMIC Buschur Racing 1000hp race edition
3" Turbo back exhaust
GT3582R with ATP housing for stock manifold
800cc Sard injectors
AEM Meth Injection 75-25

Stock..
Cams, Ecu, Maf, Manifolds, Head studs, Rod studs... Everything..

Tunned by me!
Boost 32psi
AFR around 11.0
I tried to lean it out but I lost power :/
I don't know why.. With stock turbo I run it 12.2 AFR and was perfect
Timing 7500 17, 8000 18

Ok I have seen some stock evo here around 600whp or more.
So maybe I was waiting more.

On Saturday I have to run in a drag race.
I will run it with slicks 15"
But I still don't have some launch maps.

Congrats!!! Going with a proper Single Scroll Long runner Exhaust manifold and Some bigger cams, like GSC S2's with your METH would put you at 70WHP gain easy. Maybe more. Intake manifold would really help as well.

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...ock-block.html

This with stock cams and the same boost 580..
Low torque like mine...
But the AFR from 11.0 at 6000rpm raise to 12.3 at 8000rpm
7000-7500 I am only 500whp and he is 550whp

When I tried to lean it out I lost power

Also my map it is a little strange...
For this AFR (11.4) the cells on ecuflash are around 13.2

That is a 2014 GSR EvoX

So it was going to make more power than you......

You cant really compare your 9 until you get it to an X base hp and go from there

I didn't knew that evoX can make more power than evo9/8.

So what is the most powerfull evo9/8 with stock cams/headers ?

I am thinking to run it 36psi... But I fear a little :P

Well......it starts out with more than our models bhp so its easier to stack up more hp

As far as a record I'm unsure.....your modifications are a bit unusual comparatively from what I've normally seen.
Most people have at least cams and head studs by this particular state of modification

However 36 psi with no studs is just asking for trouble
And in reality cams and an intake manifold will really help you out in the long run
It does no good to boost that much and not take full advantage of more intake and exhaust flow
Especially with an ATP housing

I have run 38psi on stock turbo but was just overboost.. At rev limit was only 26psi!

I think that except cams and intake manifold also stock ex headers and maf are big restrictions.
Totally I have many restrictions but I like to see what can I dot with stock almost everything!
And without spend money

What special has the ATP housing?

So maybe is it record on stock cams?? :P

Well the MAF isn't really as big of a restriction as you think. Plenty of high HP cars are running them.
But speed density is an option.

The exhaust manifold is an easy fix
Grab a dremel with stones and port it yourself if funds are tight, just remember to gasket match. Or go with a MAP or BR ported cast model.

As far as the record I'm sure you'd need to check Scott@ ams, Dave@ BR or Emrey@ STM records first as they have been wrenching Evos since they came stateside.

Also the ATP housing is restrictive and exhibits clear signs of being a hastily conceived idea. It's received a negative stigma here umong some tuners.

but as I previously stated

All of the restriction tips I have given you can help but IMO they are useless without cams.

I searched everywhere and I didn't find any evo over 500whp with stock cams.
Someone in Virtual Dyno only but as all we know it is pretty easy to give wrong result either by mistake or by your choice :P

I will make a new topic to see if anyone has better record stock block/stock cams

did you try to adjust down your timing?

it looks on the high side, and I am saying that without knowing your cam adjustments. how clean are your logs in terms of knock count?
