Picture Request: 18 x 9.5 Volk ZE40's on evo 8/9

Hi guys,

I really have not seen many of these wheels around. I really would like to see a set on an Evo 8 or 9, particularly in Diamond Black Gunmetal. Please list size and offset. Any color evo will do, but Graphite Grey would make my day.

Thank you all for your help.

I have been obsessing over them all day haha. A buddy of mine just bought a set for his TL type S in their matt blue color. I'm so jealous.

not a fan of volks matt colors. the clear coat scratches way too easy. have set of 57xtreme in semi gloss black, basically matt, and the clear coat scratches pretty easily. i mean its not noticeable from 2 feet away, but when detailing the wheels it makes you angry haha basically a more noticeable verson of swirl marks.

I run a set of replica ZE40's on my daily driven Evo X, 18x9.5 +15 with a 5mm spacer all around on 265/35/18's. Didn't wanna ruin a set of beautiful Volks with all the construction around my area. Definitely one of the best looking wheels on the market currently.

^ That actually looks very good!

I wouldn't run a set of real Volks on a daily driver either unless I had very short trips to work or lived in a well groomed area. Imagine the day you curb a set of real volks? Aw man I wouldn't know what to do with myself. Well, i guess it wouldn't be the end of the world.

Hey, that looks familiar!

Two things to note: pictures do not do ZE40s any justice. The spokes and colors are a lot more intricate in person! Also, 18x9.5 +22 in the ZE will not clear the front Brembos without a 5mm spacer.

They are my favorite wheels by Rays though, I doubt I will ever get another set!

Agreed, they look amazing in photos but in real life they are just insane.

Thank you for the heads up on the fitment!

I have to hand it to you, your evo is beyond clean. I'm currently between ZE40's and CE28RT Black Editions if I can find them.

Hands down my two most favorite wheels right now with Advan RS following close behind.

Thank You! I appreciate the comment. I think we have similar taste in wheels too...here was my car before I got the ZEs:

Was also torn between the BE's and ZE40. Prefer the finish on the ZE40 (a mate has these on his car) but as mentioned above the 9.5 +22 would have needed spacers so opted for the CE28's in the same size. I also run a Alcon BBK, the CE28's clear the calipers with ease

FWIW ZE40 in 9.0 +25 will fit without spacers, just a rear guard roll needed
