Whenever I see GG evo 9's.. I always see two different GG shades.
One looks more just plain standard grey

Has a purple-ish tone resembling more gunmetal in my eyes:


It seems like the MR/GSR has a more dull grey.
Where the SE came with a different GG paint.
(In my eyes..)

Anyone else see or noticed this?
I've been just telling myself "It's probably the lighting" but just wanted to share this bemusement.

 

I've owned both -- a GG IX and a GG IX SE. It's the same color. The purple-ish color comes out in the sunlight.

It's an error. It's happened before hahaha.

Someone would post a picture of their car and an entirely different picture would emerge on the post. I don't know why this happens.
