Identify this turbo.

Some debate got started on Facebook over whether I have a td04 or td05 turbo. Only thing I know for certain is that I had a Mitsubishi mechanic stick his head in and he "believed" it was a stock RA turbo. But now I don't know. Has been cloudy and rainy so it's hard to get good light pics. Lmk if there's a different angle I need to get.

Bought the car in February. All mods were done prior and I don't have any way of knowing or contacting previous owner. More curious than anything.

Thanks

It's the stock turbo.

Check out this comparison pic I found...

Stock TD04 is on the left, with a short compressor outlet (close to the wastegate actuator).

If it was a TD05, it would have that longer compressor outlet, which ends up being some distance from the wastegate actuator.

Indeed it is. I was told to take off the heat shield and look at the manifold. RA manifold so has to be an RA turbo. Alas I'm not that lucky. But it gives me something to do in the future!
