new to this forum as i have passed my test a few months ago and got a Lancer 1.6 Elegance (4G18) Engine CS3

seen alot of threads about ES, OZ and ralliart models but no idea which mine would fall under

i have started to try and modify and replace faulty parts as its an Ex taxi with 200k on the clock
the elegance is not very common in the UK so does anyone know a good site to get engine parts form, Because shipping from usa is not cheap as my car at moment needs an Oil Sump pan as mine is porous so slowly leaking oil


added a evo 4 spoiler onto car (still work in progress in-between work as previous spoiler was damaged so decided to go for an evo one looking to fill the spoiler gap with fiberglass then sand and paint it


because the grilles i liked cant be shipped to the uk i had to tweak my own standard ones with mesh attached to them

 

An Evo 7-9 spoiler would've been a better fit, as it uses the same holes as our standard one and size wise looks almost like it would be there from factory IMO.
I used a fiberglass replica.


Best site to find spare parts for the UK Lancer? Ebay, trust me finding spares for the UK lancers is difficult at times.

 

damn i wish i knew that before i tried asking on a facebook group and MLR but no one ever answered my questions because i didn't have an evolution with big turbo they all just advised me to save money for a evo and not to bother modifying the lancer

so just started trying to do my own things and hoping for best

what car is the votrex gen from?

ive tried ebay for a sump but only one is in latvia and takes 30 days for delivery also cost 80 quid was hoping maybe another site for uk parts

 

Unfortunately most if not all of the Evo guys will tell to do that, they aren't the most helpful at times.
Vortex gen is for an evo 8/9. Pretty much most parts from/for an Evo 7-9 will fit our cars, things like interior trim & spoilers and if you have a 2.0l 4g63NA some engine parts.
Unfortunately I don't know of any sites that do spares for lancers based in the UK. Most if not all of the parts I have ordered in the past have mainly came from the states.

 

thanks im looking into any sports that are breaking in future as sport versions have fancy lights compared my my cars lights but will get sump sorted first damn 4g18 engine haha
