Sup guys first time posting! I found a good shark fin antenna that fits well and looks good and thought I would share it with you guys! Found it on Amazon and it's super easy to install just need to run a power ant wire to the stereo!!! (I had the stock sat antenna before)

Is where I got it from it says it's currently out of stock might get more in maybe. The model number is Metra 44-UA42

 

How is the reception, as good or better than stock antenna?

 

It's ok it's probably a little worst but not terrible. Mine broke so I had to replace anyways. I don't listen that much to the radio but it's good by my house and ok in other places. So I'd says a bit worst then the stock hd radio might help a bit more if you have it.

I could not get another antenna that did not improve on performance...

 

yeah that suck. Best bet would be to check if the station is in hd radio. Than buy a hd stereo if you need help I can link some. Pinoeer/kenwood/alpine are the top stereos. If you go touch screen I would say go with pinoeer. When I worked for car audio the kenwood seemed way too slow for the price. As for my pinoeer I have had no lag and even with the nav unit ones no lag as to where the kenwood will take 10 minutes just to load the first screens(this might have changed with the 2016 models of kenwood tho) for alpine I had no complaints just not as popular. If you went this route you would need the wiring harness (depending of if it has Rockford system in it) and a dash kit. Mitsubish use the same as aftermarket antenna so you will not need an adaptor for it. ( I can also show you how to take apart the dash and how to put the new stereo in. If needed I can link part numbers for the dash kit and wiring harness)
