looks like detective coating is having a black friday sale for coating the calipers

anyone else get theirs done recently?

 

Try getting them coated yourself. I just thought the price was pretty high to have them rebuilt and coated.

 

my time = money, so if its a quality job i dont mind paying the price. not to mention i dont have the tools to be able to replace the seals

 

There are no special tools to replace the seals on a caliper. Its your money though, do what you want with it.

 

Just got these beauties back from Detective Coatings! I've got some RPF1's in with a local powder coater now that are going to really set this off.

Thanks! It's a custom powder coating job done by Detective Coating. The Brembos are done in candy teal and the wheels in gloss white. DC takes the calipers apart and rebuilds them as well as powder coating so they're practically new.

i have a rally red evo with Bronze Ce28 rims. i am thinking of painting my brake calipers as they look really worn out and the clear coat on all of them have faded. I am thinking of bright blue by VHT with white wordings but i cant find any pics which is similar to my thinking.

Any color suggest ? or pics to help ?
