Okay, did a little penmanship today....
Instead of physical eyelids, how about having them professionally painted on. Here's two patterns I came up with...
Below the apex of the headlight, the inside triangle painted black, the outside painted red:

...or, at the apex:

Below the apex cuts off the top third of the amber light, which isn't directly illuminated anyway... whereas at the top of the apex that light is not cut off:

After laboriously tweaking on my Droid Razor I think I'd have to go with the design that goes below the apex of the headlight, for it doesn't create such a thin sliver to the top portion of the fender panel. These are amateur PhotoshopS of those examples but I think it demonstrates what I'm trying to describe:

Lol, I was looking at that photo and trying to figure out what am I looking at through the left hood vent... what is it in the background? And then I realized that it is me and I am standing in front of the car wearing my hat!
A pic of the red carbon vinyl that i did. Bc the previous owner had it all ugly and half assed.
This car needed work I bought it for 1150. The clutch was gone and the guys wife reversed into the driver front. So I had to order a new fender from mitsubishi. And painted it in my garage. I think I might pick up a set of cedia recaros for my car soon.
Picked this up with a blown head gasket for $300. It had been sitting for awhile. The paint was oxidized and worn away on the top of the hatch. Some cleaning, some Meguiar's cleaner wax and some elbow grease got it looking presentable again.

Those pics hold a lot of nostalgia in them...That was my car twelve years ago! Amen that you now have one too. If you don't mind, post those over on my FB page and don't forget to "like" the page too!
