BTW Codgi how flush were the evo 6 vents? do they seem like they work?

The VI bumper isn't as curved in that spot, so the shop did say they did a little massaging to get it to fit. It is as flush as the ones on the 6...but it has been a few years since I saw one up close so I might be mis-remembering. Funnily enough there is a bolt that this part goes around in the Evo VI. Same bolt is on the Evo VIII




In terms of does it work. None of my previous vids at the track catch the oil temp gauge and I don't have one that can be logged. So I won't have a before/after to answer that with real data. Hopefully as more folks do it someone will have a before/after and can answer it. The old CBRD evo, had the bumper cut there similar to the VI TME so hopefully there is some real advantage to it.

Picked up a set of SBC RPF1 wheels for my WW IX. They're an 18 x 9.5… what size tire can I comfortably run without fender modification ??

 

probably 235/40/18...i run 255/35/18 but def has fender work...in fact i have 4 brand new 255/35/18 tires for sale if you feeling froggy...i have a thread on wheels/tires for sale...
