Are you editing the base or sub xml? Edit the evo7base xml

Stunt sorry I wasn't sure if you were on a tephra rom or not. Since you are you only need to edit the tephra rom itself as all the scalings are included...

If the stock max Hz axis value is 1610Hz, you have the the incorrect 6.29*x/64 in your definition.
I tried this , now it shows correct Hz 1600 but after closing the added values are gone.

Which definition should i edit in the xml ?

It is not a good idea to edit you xml using EcuFlash to do the editing, as it will delete any comments and notes embedded in the xml, and space/tabs.
Essentially, it will trash your xml down to only what EcuFlash needs to work.

So, if you were using one of my xmls for example, which have lots of tuning notes embedded in the definition, those comments and notes will be deleted.

That is why I always advocate using Notepad or Notepad++ to edit a definition file.
Hmm, I have made changes both ways. However looking at one of my tephra xmls the other day it is just a jumbled mess. Not nicely organized like I am used to seeing. Is this the reason?

Trouble is I have added several maps to my xml that were not there originally so I guess my best option is to go through and put it back in order.

Tried to rescale MAF Hz left column but it didn't work.

I rescaled MAF Hz in 9653 but in 9417 i am unable to do so.

The MAF hz scaling is correctly defined but when i try to change it [ e.g. 0x2200 ] it becomes 0.

Please advise.

Check your 9417 XML to make sure you have the right scaling code in it for MAF Hz. What you describe happens when you are missing the required scaling XML code. Also if you are trying to replace the 1600 Hz value with 2200, you don't need to enter the value as 0x2200. Just key in 2200.

I tried changing the value directly but it didn't work.

Please have a look.

Aahh - You are right my friend.

At first glance the code looks the same.

Got it working on the 9417
