New IX owner

1st post, new owner checking in. Just purchased a 06 GSR from NYC. I live in the Jax/Wilmington NC area.
Here is the link to the car. Anyone seen or know this car?

Grats on the purchase. I just bought my IX from Buffalo NY about 4 months ago. Have loved every second of it so far, including the wrench time I've put in so far.

thank you, the car is originally from Cali and from there to Maryland...I had the dealer sent some undercarriage pics and aside from a little rust on some nuts and bolts it looks good..anxious to get it and drive!
Never been in one myself, I'm coming from owing 2 subies

Thank you, I didn't even think about the fact there would be spacers on those wheels but they look pretty good for stock

Welcome to the Evo club. I just recently bought a WW Evo 9 myself. 64k Miles, mint condition. The 9 is where it is at bro ! Enjoy her and be careful. Clutch/Tranny/Transfer Case seems to be the weak point of these cars.

thanks again I don't plan on building the motor for a while so I'll have it looked over real good when it gets here to make sure she's good, I'll clean up the engine bay some and get it tuned for some peace of mind and not knowing what kind of tune is on it now. I'm very anxious to get it

My car was delivered Friday
Im very happy with my purchase...I can't believe I finally have my EVO9
The interior of the car is basically in mint condition with little work needed to the exterior. I will eventually have the car restored completely with new respray of the whole car.
Here's a couple pics!

Congratulations! I wonder if that was my old Evo... haha. (Mine had some paint scuffs to the front left Brembo caliper and some scuffs on the passenger side of the fake carbon fiber interior trim. Also a 2" horizontal scratch on the rear right from where the rear passenger door meets the rear fender.)

Those marks you said don't match up with what's on my car...where was your car sold to?

Ah ok. I figured it was a shot in the dark but you never know... I did find my old car once at MOD in 2007.

I traded mine in back to the same dealership (south coast mitsu) when I was in a position to get a IX SE. Not sure where it went from there.

Anyway, congrats again! I've owned my current one since I bought it new in February 2007 and just hit 100k miles this past weekend.
