Cool Looking for a unmolested garage queen 2006 EVO IX MR SE / I will pay all the money!!!

I am on the hunt for a unicorn.

2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX MR SE that is in 100% stock, unmolested condition. Ultra low mileage is a must. No paint work, body work, return to stock, etc. Has to be in the same condition as a new one.

I will pay all the money for the right car.

PM what you got and what you want for it.

Will travel if necessary.

Curious what all the money is to you? Should be prepared to spend around $40,000.

you should also know that IX MR SE, are not as sought after as a IX SE. The MR have the weaker 6 speed tranny.

Only people who are new to evo's or not using them for track or autocross want an MR over a non-MR.

IX SE and RS are the real unicorns, imo.

^ Really? I purchased my MR brand new, its been modified since birth, road raced its whole life, even drag raced multiple times, and 180,000 miles later, my original 6-speed trans doesn't even grind. Don't believe everything you read. The only thing I prefer a 5-speed for is easier launch capability, other than that, both transmissions have their advantages.

MR will be worth most in the future, to me that is most desirable.

Bump for OP....hope you find your car

I have a IX MR graphite grey completely stock. Actually bought it from Naples Motorsports. 22k original miles. Haven't seen a cleaner one. It sits in my garage and I drive it rarely. Not really looking to sell but for the right price anything is for sale ha. Let me know. Thanks.

It has been proven MULTIPLE times the 6 speed is weaker than the 5 speed. Lucky you for not having an issue.

Thanks man. Naples Motorsports was a good find. And ya the Evo is perfect. Glad I found it.

We have some nice mountain roads out here. Leading into the crest of the Sandia mountains as well.

^ Perfectly said! My IX-MR has 108K on it, and has done track days, daily driven for years, etc., and runs fine! I'll always keep the 6-speed trans! And it WILL be worth more being a 6! Don't trust the hype! good luck with your search!
