Amazing driving. Interesting to see the rear end or whole car skip over some of those berms and corners, you can hear it. Or the ACD is trying to figure it out/going crazy haha

Thank you guys. its been a crazy wild week. Felt a lot of love from everyone rooting us on. We've been to SLB 3 times now and this was the first year going in Unlimited form.

SO CLOSE to the 30's and I know the time is there. Last session was ended early for us but we did get to a 1:40.051 and as you can maybe see in the video, theres a few mistakes. With another few laps I think we could be in the mid 39's pretty easily.

Next year we'll be back. This car is really so basic yet. no real good aero, single element wing, no flat bottom, and heavy too. we have a long ways to go but we will not sit still. already planning and starting the 2018 re-build.

also I have to say Ron at RS KNOWS HIS STUFF! I did not think it was possible to lap a 700hp car for 2 days without it blowing up. Ron built and tuned this thing and he proved his work. that BAMF knows what he is doing. don't question him.

I’m still astonished this car isn’t running a dry sump. Pretty remarkable

the vents I have on the fender are not from PA. I did those a while ago, before PA had vents. however the ones on my hood are from PA. very easy to install.

Do you have any logs of oil pressure that you can post up?

10ish seconds @~35psi through that sweeper, I'd say it definitely could be worse (your bearings are still intact after all lol).

Do you overfill the oil a bit? I'm looking into making myself a new pan similar to the RF pan but I'm trying to gauge how high oil can go before we start running into aeration issues with the crank counterweights. Also am going to check what the clearance is like from the bottom of the pickup to the bottom of the pan, if that can be closed up a bit without negative effects on flow then that would definitely help.

Ok yeah they had your car on their page for the vents so it wasn't clear to me if the fenders were the same or not

we fill in the middle. We also use a 3qt accusump. if we overfill pan, we get a TON of oil pushed into the catch can after it dumps the accusump.

This has been happening for years, and even stock evos on these new street tires are more than likely seeing big drops. We've pulled our motors apart and surprisingly look really good. we've really only had issues with cranks cracking (mostly due to launching). That's a whole separate issue though.

We plan to make our own custom pan, have it centered under the engine better and route the exhaust out the side.
