I have to disagree. Tommi is not a man. He was built by Mitsubishi. You can tell because his facial expression never changes and he hardly ever makes a mistake.

Suggestion noted and added. I just realized that I forgot to add rally to the forum. I put autoxing, road racing, and rallying in one section since, usually, the same crowd likes all three.

Big Nasty, he probibly ditched the nose, or drifted in a little to tight on a hairpin, or what is most likly, nosed the car coming over a crest or jump.

Before the latest version of th 6.5 was released (which really has more in common with a WR Car then a Group-A car), the rear suspension was very small, and didnt have much travel, and was generally set very stiff to compensate for lacking thsoe two features. Becuase of that, as the car would launch, it would pitch the nose downward. and the car would not fly very well. If youve seen videos from 99-00 of the Evo-VI look at rallys like Portugal with the famous Fafe jump, or rally finalnd with the "Yumps", the car always seems to have a tendancy to nose down. Im sure thats probibly how the front end got beat up.

Edit: Actually here is EXACTLY how that happened...taken from last years Network-Q Rally of Great Briton, as quoted from Mitsubishis site.
"We had a couple of problems in the opening two stages", commented Tommi. "In the first one, the radio filter box came loose under my legs and then we went off the road in the next stage. After about ten kilometres we slid wide, spun, hit a tree and damaged the intercooler".
So he hit a tree, and thats how the damage got there.
