broken hearted

xtians carbon fiber version looks clean and well made. I opted for the fiberglass and i'm a little disapointed. the edges of the lip are horrible. Sometimes lining up and in other places gapping. the shop i had put it on strongly suggested that i get it molded. they also said it seemed like it was rushed or an imperfected mold (as if im a guinea pig of sorts). when i get a chance ill contact street concept about this, as i feel this is not what i paid for. $255 gb price + $200 paint job and $75 installation. as soon as i can get a digi-cam ill post pics.

That looks pretty clean. It would look a lot cleaner if you had some side skirts and a rear lip that were flush with the front lip. All in all it looks good homie!!

Wow, pretty bad looking with stock sides and rear. Even the overall fitment looks pretty poor. The picture of the front looks good though. Just not the quality on the closeups.

Looks good, from a distance... I think you need a rear RalliArt lip, just to make it flow a little better.

About fitment. I think it still should be better than that!!! Those gaps are waaaay too big. And what's with the edges being all rough like that? That should have smooth!

I was thinking about getting the CF one, but not if the quality is the same as that.

hm....i got the simular problem as you....
i just got my CF lip today, the edges were not a great job, and the fitment....man.... i drilled another hole in the center of the car to match the screw that the lip came with. even though i did that, it's still off..... i installed it myself, but kinda disappointed though, i tried many ways to fit it, but still won't work....oh wells...

It looks good from a distance, I want to get the CF lip. You should definitly contact them and complain because those are pretty big gaps.

Dont worry about it Nate. You cant see anything unless you look REALLY close. I think it still looks good on your ride.

It does not matter whether you can see the defect from a certain distance, it the fact the the lip has been poorly manufactured. I would have already called them *****ing to get me a new one especially since you had it perfessionally installed. How long before the thing starts falling apart. Have you seen the new accolade lip, looks nice.

i am pretty sure that the body show didn't "oversand" the parts of the lip on nate's OZ. Let say if they did, how come my CF one is the same? i didn't get the chance to take the pictures yet, but i was pretty disappointed at the quality. i am sorry if i am asking too much, but fitment and the edges are just.....pretty bad.
