It is being looked at, but the 05' guys are the priority right now...

 

Ok, so tonight I messed with my HFC, rotating it 180 degrees and even fliping it around. Still the same results. The mid-pipe to Rear pipe flange ends up hitting the gas tank and the mid pipe is a lot closer to the drive shaft. So, my guess is the mid pipe isn't completely straight or the flanges on the mid pipe are at an angle. Whatever the case is, it looks like I'll have to have an O2 Bung drilled into the HFC so I can rotate the mid pipe back into the correct position. Or maybe I'll have the O2 bung put into the mid pipe since it's closer to the wiring for the O2 sensor...

Unfortunately Megan is out of stock until Feb it looks like. However, there is a dirt bag cleaning up my scraps who I'm sure will contact you here shortly...

Nope, it definitely doesn't.

 

So, last update for now. I want down to a shop and had a O2 bung welded to the midpipe. I put the mid pipe in the proper direction and welded one in. I chose the mid pipe over the cat since the O2 plug is closer to the Mid Pipe. Going to the HFC made my strech out the wire, and it would just hand around causing me some concern. 15 minutes later, I was good to go. Doesn't hang low, and no CEL thrown. I'm pretty much good to go except for one last thing. And that I don't mind waiting for since it seems to be working as is.

 

For anyone still having problems with the 05' fitment, contact Megan directly. If they need "prodding", let me know.

The IX turbo backs should be ready and about a month or so...

For the 03'-04' guys there are plenty of turbo backs ready to ship for those who need them.

I haven't installed the exhaust yet because I have the fitment problem of the rear
exhaust hanger being "reversed". I did contact Megan, but have not heard anything from them. Is there any chance you might be able to "prod" them?

have a 03 evo. Bought the megan racing turbo-back exhaust. with resonator. Holy ****. The car woke the f up. The car feels so much stronger. I really mean so much stronger. I had my muffler shop put on a catback. And i still feel with just a dp, resonator, and megan racing catback a total difference. I would have paid more for this much of a enhancement. It sounds so badass when you go wot. When the turbo spools get ready for hell to enter you domain. All i can say is WOW!!! Megan racing is the shiznit
