EvoScan v0.98 Wideband Support

Do you have a wideband controller you to wish to have supported on EvoScan?
http://www.limitless.co.nz/EvoScan

Select the dropdown menu "Wideband" and select "Log to wideband.csv file"
- This will deselect all items except for the Wideband (WDB) log item in the list.
- This will set the baudrate to 19200 (change it to 9600 for AEM or Zeitronix, LM1 uses 19200, for other wideband loggers set it to the manufacturer listed baudrate)
- Now plug in your serial cable from your wideband and "start datalogger"
- It will clear the serial port buffer every 5seconds
- and it will log to a file called C:\Program Files\EvoScan\EvoScan v0.97\EvoScanWideBandLog_200609??.csv and any errors will be logged to an errors.csv file.
- After you have finished logging your wideband device,

send a copy of your csv log files to wb@limitless.co.nz along with the name and model of your wideband device, and the actual value or range of values that were displayed on the wideband device at the time of logging.

Thanks for your support,
Hamish.

Hamish,

I will get you a log of the output for my LC-1 (which I know is supported) along with my GM 3.3Bar Map sensor. I use the Innovate SSi4 to add 4 more loggable 0-5V inputs in the MTS chain.

I am assuming you would be able to log multiple devices on the Innovate MTS chain? For example, on my serial port the data for the LC-1 and GM 3.3 bar will be coming through at the same time. I'm not sure how Innovate has the data streaming, but I'm guessing that you already have that all figured out since you are supporting their products.

Also, for the GM 3.3 bar, do you need the equation for Voltage to PSI or do you just want the data that is logged from EvoScan along with the range of values?

Getting my wideband and boost in an Evoscan log would complete everything nicely.

Thanks,
Eric

I will give this a try with my PLX R-500. I think I understand your instructions.

cpoevo will get the info for the R-500. Will this be the same for the M-300 (both are PLX models)? The M-300 does not allow it to be logged via a serial port but, though a 5v source. It basically is a spare wire that allows you to hook it up to a logger.

Are there are sources in the OEM wiring that the EVOscan can use to log the data from the M-300?

along the same lines as I use the LM-1 w/RPM converter to log boost, would you be able to incorporate that log into the EVOScan data so I could look at everything on one screen?

OK, I sent in a quick log of my LC-1 and GM 3.3 bar map sensor hooked into the SSi4.

Hopefully, Hamish, could figure it out so that I can log both wideband and boost in EvoScan.

I believe if you log it like EVO4MAD is asking, he can/might be able to implicate it.

Someone should send him a log...............not it.

Innovate sdk?

Hamish,

Are you using the Innovate SDK to incorporate logging the serial devices on the MTS chain or are you doing it your own way?

I would assume using their SDK would allow you to incorporate multiple devices from the SDK chain pretty easily.
