Hey Rob, installed the part today!

Well I have to say, I didn't notice much of a difference but let me not end it there. I got a friend to rev the car to see if the engine moved, and it moved slighltly. Would you say I'm correct to say that no motor mount/torque damper will eliminate engine movement entirely, more so, minimize wheel-hopping due to the reduction in engine movement.

But I did notice that when I rev'd at high speeds, there was a smooth transition from gear to gear instead of that wheel hop/ridgidy movement. So in a sense there is no 'delay, engine movement, lag'. Also, I tried to not let the "placebo effect" take its course

The engine does move a little still but I think thats normal (would you agree?), but wheel hop is minimised greatly. I wouldn't say it eliminates wheel-hopping as most say it does. Would you say I'm correct in saying this? This is just my experience though

The material and design is very well constructed and easy to follow instructions! Thanks for a well-rounded product! Was very easy to install!

I think one of the best ways to test this damper is to run the car in 1st gear on a not so good street and accelerate the ****e out of it and see how a bumpy street affect wheel hoping mine is supposed to arrive this next week. I will give a good feedback!!!

Hey migue, yep don't get me wrong, I love this product, just trying to give an accurate review based on my experience.

I notice that when I punch the car, I feel like the rev hangs in there. Certainly wheel-hop has minimised. Have you sold your turbo yet? hehe

MITVRX -

I'm glad it had the intended effect. The T/D is not intended to eliminate wheel hop or engine motion, just to take out most of it. You need some engine motion for your drivetrain to work properly.
Drive it for a while, then unbolt the dogbone for a day and see if you notice anything.

Thats what I thought Rob, great stuff

I also notice a little vibration in the cabin once I fire her up. Is this normal?

It doesn't happen on idle like some others, just when I start the engine. With the hood up and then the engine being started, there is no noise. When I reverse a little 'clank' nothing major though.

All this normal Rob?

Engine damper works GREAT Rob! Thanks for an awesome product! You're really too modest about this thing. Looks really custom! Shifting is through the ground now!
Rock on Rob!

Mirvrx,
You really shouldn't notice any more vibration unless you have stiffer mounts on your engine somewhere. Reverse clanks on all cars, including mine, since it isn't synchronized, but I've found that clanking and minor grinding into reverse has no ill effects.
