AGP Turbo's X.....NOW 84whp gain...update pg4
Turbo info-
We all knew it's a standard rotation TD05H based on the known part number, but the actual dimensions of the compressor wheel are the big question. It is in fact smaller than the other EVO comp wheels measuring just 1.85"inducer/ 2.68"exducer. Even the old EVOiii 16g is bigger. It seems to be nothing special in blade height or design, just a slightly different size.

Thanks for the info.
Question: if the X's turbo is so small compared to the other evo gens, how is it even possible to think it may produce more power (when all is said and done) - full bolt-on IX stock turbo vs. full bolt-on X stock turbo??
I just got finished cleaning another vendor's thread. Off topic stuff is restricted per the rules.
AGP is trying to bring some new products to market, and they don't need 4G63 and 4B11 bench racers cluttering up their thread.
Cleaning this thread is going to be a nightmare, so you can all bet I am going to be watching this thread closely and making sure there is no off topic junk in here, and issuing warnings and infractions from here against people who blatently disregard that.
AGP- Please do not hesitate to PM me or report posts of people that are trashing your threads if you catch something while I am away from the computer. I'm happy to keep them clean so people can see the products you have to offer without being forced to sift through off topic junk.

There went a half hour of my life and four pages of off topic crap.
Its not hard, guys. If you want to compare the IX to X in handling, suspension, acceleration, etc, start your own thread. Stop trashing other threads.

It's not. The X engine is likely going to be more efficient and make more power out of less air. But I think the larger IX turbo will overcome and always make ~40whp more. This is just a best guess, we don't have any tuning done on the X yet and we still don't know if the e-throttle is screwing with us.
Another question. When are we going to see numbers that matter - drag times??? All this speculation over the engine and what it can do is poo compared to what the car can actually put down at the track. It's a good test of all of it's components working together - drivetrain, wheels, suspension, engine, etc..

No it cant just bolt up cause the turbo for the X spins clockwise like the 1gen dsm and galants vr4s. The Evo 7 to 9s turbos spin counter clockwise soo it would make this swap impossible.. Btw Your one of the sickest bmxers out there ...

What about the hostside can it be bolted up to a 20g?
