modding question- need some input
Hey guys. I'm seriously considering buying an evo 9. if i get one thats stock, i'm definitely wanting to mod it out a bit but don't know too much about import modding other than the basics. Hypothetically if I bought an evo 9 MR and had 5,000 to modd it up, what should i do to get the most bang for my buck?

Since you're new to the tuning scene, make sure you know what you want from your car (i.e. fast in a straight line, show car, weekend track machine, etc.) before you spend your money. I would invest in some driver's training on a track before adding a ton of power. From experience power + inexperienced driver =
.
Pick and choose your mods carefully. I know when I have a lot of money to spend I tend to spend it all at once and regret it later on. As you can tell from the previous posts, most of the owners on Evom go for the power mods right away. If you want to build a drag racer then go ahead, but I feel with each major power upgrade I would make sure the suspension and chassis and the driver were tuned to match.

learn about imports first, then mess around with some import cars before starting on an evo. The evo is maint. hungry, and modding will be addictive. Spend that money wisely, search on here and do some research before taking the responsibility of an evo.
