Thanks. You sure you're holding 25psi at redline?

The car was doing almost 25 psi and falling to 23-24psi on the dyno. I would like to have the car spike 26-27 psi and try and hold 24psi all the way out.

All this on stock injectors? Or did he fail to mention them on his post? ECUFlash to control boost?

Hanahawaiian,

Do not put Cenex 94 Octane in your tank. Your AFRs are like almost 12s,
according to your tuner, if you do, they will jump to almost 13s not good with your 25+psi.

He would be a good test to see how much leaner it gets and see what the extra hp is we can get. Going high 11s low 12s would not be the end of the world for his car.

The other cars that I noticed it on I fixed the problem but did not put a finger on the problem till later so I dont have any true tests of what real difference is.

Man thought I was in the other thread but it works in here also

His car is still on stock injectors (I think unless Aaron did some other tunning since last time I touched it)

It has a forge MBC but his WG arm is about is lose as it can get for a FP WG.

I will guess with a good clutch and right driving around 118mph. My cust on VIII RS that made 37X on Bobs dyno does a avg 11.9-12.1@118-120 and has a best of 11.7@120.

What was the IDC by 7500 rpm redline? Was the 23-24 psi by 7500 rpm redline? What was the AFR by 7500 rpm redline?

Thanks

Was the boost logged or set with a gauge?

Thanks

Was me just watching the boost gauge. We were revving the to about 8k. The afrs were in the mid 11s. Did not look a the DC. I really dont look at that much unless we are starting to run lean. The # the logger puts out I am not sure if they are right anyway. I have been at %100dc and went to 110% and still got more fuel which should not happen.

Was it a mechanical boost gauge?

I have noticed the same thing with IDC numbers. It seems that the best way to find out if the injectors are maxed out is to see if you can richen the AFR at the top end. If you cannot, then the injectors are maxed out.

JB and others believe that to make the IDC numbers accurate you need to multiply the number that you log by injector scaling number/actual injector size. So if your getting 110% IDC and your running the stock injectors, then 110%*513/560=100.77%. I am sure you knew that. I just wanted to share.

Anyway, great job on the tune and thanks for answering my questions.
