Jun has just announced their newest release for the Evolution X.

Jun 2.3 Stroker Kit:

This Custom Kit for 4B11 expands engine displacement by enlarged bore and stroker. The engine displacement is 2307cc.

Bore x stroke = 87x97

The JUN Custom Kit provides more power and torque capabilities of your Stroker Assemblies -

Includes:
JUN Crankshaft, JUN Piston Kit, JUN Super Connecting rods

The lightweight, high strength, and rate of balance of those parts are improving. The high response is offered. You can use broadly in various fields as circuit running, drag race etc.

Uprated Oil Thermostat:

This oil thermostat prevents to decrease oil flow through oil cooler by insufficient shutting up of the valve.

Uprated Turbo Acuator:

Helps prevent boost pressure decrease at high RPM and allows adjust ability between 1.0 - 1.3 bar.

Camshaft Kit Stage 2R:

This is JUN's top of the line camshaft kit.

It includes:
Camshaft (2 pcs), Valve spring (1 set), Type 2 Titanium Valve retainer (1 set)

Is there a dyno of the JUN cams up anywhere?

 

To the best of my knowledge this information is not available from JUN. After a few have been installed in the states, I would imagine Evo X owners putting this information out there. JUN cams have been very popular with previous Evo's and are known for their performance increase.

 

Will this parts be compatible with the MR??

The Dual Clutch Gearbox is still really the only variable on the MR that has yet to be tested for its durability and power/torque restraints. I have yet to hear of any catastrophic failures yet and I checked with AMS Performance to see if they had any chances to dabble with an MR. Unfortunately, they have not, and though they have done the Dyno runs on a stock MR, they have no speculative info on what the limitations of the drivetrain are.

These parts will definitely fit an MR. The question everyone seems to be asking is whether or not the DCG can handle the power gains? We'll post the answer as soon as we hear of one.

hello BP auto. i drive a 2008 GTS lancer(not evo) with the 4b11 engine. i am not jaded about knowing that the EVO Xs 4b11 is different internally, but is it similar enough to intall the JUN 2.3 stroker kit? would the compression not be ok for a N/A setup? any help, ideas, opinions, welcomed
