Buschur Racing Carbon Fiber Air Filter Shield *FINISHED PRODUCT*

I had some of the finished pieces come in today.

They are simply just gorgeous. These are VERY high quality and REAL carbon fiber. The company that makes them for us also makes parts for Indy cars, Champ cars, NHRA, Cart, Air planes, etc... so that should give you an idea that these are not cheap Ebay quality. If you're curious just who it is please visit this link: www.aerodineengineering.com

I have 3 at this time and I will have more coming in next week.

Price: $180

For those that have not kept up on this item and do not know what its for here is the original thread with more information on the topic: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=352470

I will have these up on the website this afternoon or if you would like to be one of the first to pick one up please call me here at the shop. 440-839-1900. As I said I only have 3 as of now and more will be instock next week.

I will also be adding a complete air filter kit including this shield.

The wait is finally over. Thank you all for your patience!

Take care guys!

Wow, now that actually looks great! I wasn't feeling the metal shield, but this one takes the cake!

I have to tell you guys, the pictures do not do this justice. The shield and underhood of the car with it in there looks absolutely HOT HOT HOT. I couldn't be more impressed with the look and function.

Thanks a lot to Indy EVO for putting this together, building the prototype and mold and to Aerodine for building the parts for us.

We will be putting together a complete kit price for the MAF pipe, bracket, air filter kit and carbon fiber shield, we'll get that put together as soon as we get a second.

For those of you with filters from someone else, the inside dimensions of this carbon fiber cover is 6.5" long, 7.625" across in the back, 6.250 inches in the front and is set up for a 3" inlet filter. This will give you an idea if this will fit around someone else's filter kit. Warning, IF you buy this to use on another filter and find that it does not fit, we will not accept returns on it. So measure carefully please.

Very nice looking high quality piece!

Do you still have plans to produce the metal one?

We were never going to make the metal. That was just a prototype.

We were going to offer it in a painted fiberglass but this is what was brought to the table and its just perfection of the product and represents exactly what we wanted.

That looks incredibly awesome from the position you took the screen shots. So clean and makes the engine bay look great.

Thanks Dave, I'll let the boys at Aerodine know this went over well. Sorry it took so long, but with all the Indy Car crash damage in the last few weeks it set things back a little. I think overall it was worth the wait. You are correct this cover will fit many other kits out there and some 8-9's with an AEM and the same filter. I'm glad it met your standards. Looking forward to the next project. Indy

Why didn't you create your intake so it wasn't directly in front of the radiator fan? When I made my intake I used enough pipe to mount it further from that source of blowing heat.
