So... Im a royal noob.... is this "ZChip" like the proceed? you just splice her in and it acts as a piggy back for the ECU? or does it involve some dealership detectability? very interested...

Oh and if you need a new website... lemme know... esp if you are gonna be big

There are many cars like that with traction control and wheel speed sensors that require it. Mercedes, DaimlerChrysler, Crossfire, Porsche, Skyline, etc.

He has been on the dyno for the last 4-5 hours. Everything is working great. Developing the basemaps for spoolup took the first 2.5hrs alone. Excellent looking curves. The best yet. Will have some info up soon.

This is a whole new unit with 5x the resolution of the prototypes. There are multiple areas of the software that get flashed to the chip with each revision.

As with any new software interface for tuning, the upfront investment in time provides a basis for subsequent tunes which can use much of the tuning already done to expedite future tunes. In layman's terms. Since he has done all this work up front, customer tuning will be a much faster process.

Boost is untouched thus far. With the smoother curves now, he may try another psi to see if the numbers improve at all.

Final production unit has been fully tuned on 93 octane tonight. Best looking curves yet.

Here is an overlay of stock to ZChip + MBC.

Differences between 5 x more resolution and custom tailored spoolup.

Up to 40tq+ gains on the low end has had an excellent improvement over the v5 prototype. Definately end product worthy.

Is this on the MR or the GSR? If not the MR, when are you going to post results on the MR? I really believe it is time because us MR owners are very anxious to see similar results!

yeah, how many places really have 93....

what about 90! sell it as an economy mode for most people (and performance mode for those of us who only can get 90)

Most of the USA has 93 and 94 up in the Northeast.

It only makes sense to work from the broadest market forward. We placed the order this morning for more boards to get the public units made.

We have an MR test chip that will be here shortly. The test car wants to keep the ZChip on the MR so we have to wait for a spare production chip so we don't have to give away the GSR unit.
