.AMS flashed me.

That’s right, Chris was driving through San Antone, TX and I happen to see him on the street.
I pulled next to him at a stop light, he rolls down his window and flashed me his goods and then took off. Man was I mesmerized. LOL.
Anyways Chris from AMS happened to be in my town and he told me he could hook me up with the good ol’ AMS reflash.
I already had the z-chip installed but I was intrigued, so I decided to give it a shot to compare these two products first hand.
After about 2 hr drive out to the boondocks and being lost half the time. I found the meet up point. Chris pulls out the laptop and looks all business.
He takes out the Z-chip and then goes on to the re-flash on his laptop like a mad scientist. I give him the keys for a test drive and then he’s off. While he is gone, all I hear is my wife jawing at my ear on how I should have went and accompanied him. I told her it was ok, Chris is the shizznit ,I trust him, he knows what he’s doing, lol. She just gives me the mean look. After about 15 minutes, Chris pulls up and told me I was running just a tad high on boost from TTP’s boost pill. He does his tweaks and everything is good. We exchange hand-shakes and he empties my wallet, in a good way though. I drive away in the newly “AMS tuned” RA. Easy on the gas first since the fam. is in the car. Car accelerates very smoothly, good kick. No CEL lights which is very good considering the z-chip gave me a CEL due to over-boost and made my tranny act all funky. So def. a plus for the re-flash on reliable power.
The 0-60’s are nearly the same, so not much change there from the z-chip and the re-flash. After 60 it seems the re-flash pulls a bit harder though, feels very good. I can’t really give a fair comparison yet on which is quicker, but I am heading to the track this Wednesday and doing multiple runs to see who gets the thumbs up there, so stay tuned for updates. Based off highway driving though, I’m pretty sure the re-flash will do better.

So far I am very impressed with the AMS re-flash done by Chris. Car is really fun, strong reliable power. You cannot go wrong.
As of now AMS gets my thumbs up. Drag testing is coming up next. I would like to thank Chris@AMS for hooking my car up, dude’s a cool a guy. I’m looking forward to doing business again in the future when I sell more drugs.

Edit: After running a 13.9 at the track with traction control still on(by accident) and running 14.1 Traction control off with zchip. I think the reflash is def. overall better. AMS gets my vote. TTP falls just a bit short.

Congrats on the flash, I thought you sold the Z chip because you needed the money for something, I guess that something is for a flash

^^^

Nice hook up; I'm always towards the flash rather than dealing with the chip thing. I'm also doing some "on-the-side" biz to get my flash already. Can't friggin wait....
