WORKS Evo IX 24mm rear swaybar information
Alright guys, I am looking for some more information on your 24mm rear swaybar. I sold my Perrin as it was a bit too stiff and had a tendency to lift the rear wheels. So your 24mm on interests me. I have a couple questions though.
-Its 3 way adjustable but what are the percentage that each adjustment makes over stock.
-I only see bushings come with it. Does it reuse the stock mounting brackets? I have read that is not a very strong piece and tends to crack. Will this 24mm bar compound that? Also will the stock endlinks be sufficient with this bar?
-Can this bar be installed without removing the suspension arms? My Perrin couldn't so I assume 1mm wont make a difference.
-What is your current Evom pricing for one. I am interested in purchasing a 24mm bar within the next week.
Thank you.

The percentage of stiffness over stock is 13%, 23%, and 55%.
Yes, you reuse the stock mounting brackets and the stock end links can be reused with our bar. The bar is extremely strong and holds up very well in heavy cornering and in competition use and will not crack (there is no weld to crack).
You will have to remove at least one of the lower control arms in order to install the sway bar.
The EvoM price is $236.55 plus tax if you are in California and shipping.

What about the stock mounting brackets? Are they strong enough for this bar. I have heard of failures of the stock mounting brackets with certain bars. I am curious if you have ever witnessed that.
Yes, the stock brackets are strong enough for the WORKS rear bar. We have them on all of our shop track cars and have had no issues what so ever. I have one on my RS and it works its magic everyday
.
.
I've had it on my VIII for over a year with no issues. Yes i haven't had much track time with it to really "Stress" it but i haven't had any failure with it so far
. I should clarify that I run it on the softest setting.
