YEah alot has happened in the last little while. I do/did have limited money but the local shop cut me a really good price on labor so I decided to open her up and see whats what. I can rebuilt it with OEM stuff and enjoy the car while saving for a ER/MAP 2.4 block and BR head.

Gives me some breathing room.

your talking about put it back together then save up personally since it open I would leave it that way and just build it now taking your time the only difference is you dont have that car for awhile but you will not be paying labor twice as well. On top of that what happened to you and some friends cracking it open etc.

Schedules couldn't co-incide with some of peeps and I could've done that (leaving the car sitting) but getting around would've been a pain in the *** with my wife going to school, plus if she or I found a part-time job it would've almost been impossible to get around.

The car will be fine for a couple years. It gives me some time to NOT spend money on this thing and once my wife is out of school, if she can find a good job then I'm free and clear to do what I want.

Putting it together doesn't mean its going to be half ***. It just means that I'm not going for big numbers. Doing what I can with what I have. I got bigger things to worry about going into next year (wife's mom is sick and may not make it past this year, kids getting bigger, need a bigger car/SUV).

Life gets in the way sometimes. After motor is put back together I should be able to make over 450 to the ground. Thats plenty for now. I'll stack the loot slowly and buy parts (Maybe start my own closet like some folks I know :P )

Until then I'll just live vicariously through you homie.

I reccomend my closet ideal to anybody this build is taking awhile I'm not rushing getting sloppy leaving things off that should be added while car is apart 1 year of collecting and changing parts and so far 7 months build time so no rush like yourself

Rockman - The clutch is on its way boss man! I sent you a pm with the tracking #. I tried taking some pictures before sending it out yesterday and my camera died 3 pictures into it and I didn't have time to let it charge considering fed ex was on their way to my location to picking up shipments we were sending out. Enjoy and keep us updated once your beast is running again!

P.s - All your old parts are in the same box as the clutch.

Pretty easy going environment here @ Strictly Modified.
