Pointless NTEC chat thread
Well, it took all night but my new battery is all fully charged. Out of the box it cranked the car fine, but the battery charger said it was only at about 60% capacity, that is after running it for 20 minutes or so in the car...I really do think my 12 mile commute just wasn't enough to keep the old one topped off.
Getting my baby back after 3 and a half weeks... I was told she will be ready to go on Friday. Tomorrow I get a new sst fluid with filter done and this Saturday will be a busy day... Got free oil change to do, new spark plugs, new tires, new brake pads. After being away from my baby for a little more than 3 weeks.. I think I am going to drive 2 days straight...
Saw this bad mother lover up at lamborghini dallas on my way home from work yesterday. I had to pull in and get a picture and eye **** the **** out of it. I would sell my soul for this car.

Michael, don't forget, I do have your products on my car too and regularly recommend your intercooler. If you'd prefer I don't though I can gladly stop and push people towards your competition instead.
*edit*
Michael, please also keep in mind that this is a local section and these are my friends I am talking to. I am free to recommend whichever product I feel is best whether it be by design, price, etc. End of the day what people chose for their car does not affect me one bit; I don't get paid, I don't make commission, I just recommend the products I've had personal experience with and have proven themselves to me as being effective. Also, if I can save a friend who is clearly on a tight budget a few bucks I'm going to try and accomplish that for his and his family's sake.
Attempting to call me biased is ludicrous, I have a bigger mix/match of parts on my car than the vast majority of people. I'll even list all the brands my car represents to better illustrate that point (intake through exhaust, then drivetrain; each brand listed once):
-AFE
-Perrin
-Nisei
-MAP
-Depo
-Grimspeed
-Mil.Spec
-PPI
-SPC
-ETS
-Cobb
-WORKS
-AMS
-Beatrush
-TorqueSolution

I should quote all of your posts, it would make a 20 page thread on it's on about the downpipes.

I'm just saying.. I don't really care one way or another. I work very closely with MAP on a day to day basis. They are a very good company. I just figured when you sign up for a mod, your here to moderate not be subjective.

Go right ahead. You're also quick to jump in anytime someone discusses any other brand of downpipe, intercooler, exhaust, etc. My apologies than I prefer a similar product your competition offers for less money.
Also, please go back and read my 2nd edit.

Check my history as a member here, ever since I got my first Evo I've been doing comparisons and reviews of products. My work prior to becoming a moderator is what helped me become one, why would I change that? I work for the community as a whole, not for or against any one certain brand or shop, and I especially do not work or bow down for any whiny vendors.
I'm a vendor... Your a moderator...
Thanks.
