RALLY ON /////////////////////////
Whatever Mitsubishi Does During It's Year Off...They'll Come Back On Top.
"Drivers Francois Delecour, Alister McRae and Jani Paasonen have on-going contracts with Mitsubishi, but may find that they have a new car to develop when they return to the wheel. Mitsubishi is thought to be in the throes of deciding whether to switch from the Lancer to its much smaller Colt as the basis for its next WRC car."

I think that this is a good sign. Something was obviously amiss with the last season, and if it was the car, well, they should do what it takes to win. I personally think that the EVO VII was really a better Road car than a Rally one (obviously), but, I think that unlike the previous 6 and a half incarnations, that it was MADE for Road driving versus rallying.
Bring on another crazy hatch to give Peugeot an Citreon a run for their collective money.

Damn, the Colt looks pretty good. Granted it's not a 4 door, but it's very nice. I can definately see this replacing the Evo in the WRC, but I hope they don't discontinue producing the Evo... it's still a very successful GrpN rally car

hi gang! just like to make an addition here; as per MMC restructuring, MMC will be making Lancer/Charisma for ALL markets: Euro, Asia, North America. Ralliart has been the mfg of Lancer prior. All this means is greater resources/efforts directed at bringing Lancer to new markets and meeting demands.
Ralliart Euro will be working on the new Colt for the 04 season. The red car posted above is the last gen Colt cyborg. This is the 03 Colt:

hopefully they'll bring in the colt posted by lancer evoloution. i have already seen the picks of the 04 colt and it looks like the fricken Toyota Matrix and the Suzuki Aerio mixed into one.. Also.. bringing in the Colt sure would exemplify the notion of EVOLOUTION. I can't wait to see. I just hope
goes back in to WRC in 04.
goes back in to WRC in 04.
is developing three versions of the COLT. The above four-door, an actual mini-minivan and the 3-door sports version on which the WRC car will be based. The 3-door will be released next year either end of 1st quarter or early 2nd quarter.
Remember, RalliArt will do their magic
